Saturday Workshops

Take the Mystery out of the current housing market and learn what you need to arm yourself to buy at the right time, at the right price.

Each Saturday we hold 4-5 workshops - each workshop lasts 30 minutes. At the end of the workshop, you're welcome to stay and ask specific questions. Attend as many or as few that interest you.

Workshops include:

10:30 - 11:00 a.m. Credit Score. Learn how to interpret your score, how your credit score impacts your payments and free and easy things you can do to improve your score.  You'll also learn what NOT to do (and it may surprise you).

11:15-11:45 a.m. Down Payments. There are a multitude of Low Down Payment programs. Learn what's available to you, allowable sources for Down payments, and how much you need for a down payment under these programs.

12:00-12:30 p.m. Special Loan Programs.  You'll learn about little known programs especially beneficial for distressed homes, including Rehab loans, Auction Step financing, 105% Equity First, and Zero Down Payment loans.

12:45-1:00 p.m.Distressed Properties.  According to recent statistics, over 75% of the population will consider a distressed property.  This workshop will walk you through the different types of distressed properties, the pros and cons of each, and you'll learn how to spot the "deal".  

1:15:-2:00 p.m.  Mortgages.  Learn how to evaluate Loan programs, what the best program is for you, how to read a good faith estimate (and what it means), and how much you'll need for closing costs.
